My name is Jesse Stewart. I'm a financial education professional with the MO Deferred Comp Plan. I cover the Southwest part of the state and some agencies in Cole County. [Music] My favorite part about being a financial education professional is when I sit down with a participant and we talk about that person's needs and their goals and then we develop a plan to try to meet those goals saving for retirement is important because it gives you a financial freedom, it gives you flexibility to do things that we want in life. It's one less thing we have to worry about. One issue a lot of state employees have is that they believe that Social Security and the pension will be enough in retirement. For most people there's still a gap and that's where personal savings comes into play and a great way to save is with the deferred comp program. You should save with deferred comp because everyone needs to save but coming up with a specific plan is tough and that's where I come in that's where the financial education professional comes in and we'll ask you questions we'll talk with you we'll try to understand what you're comfortable with and then we'll use some of our tools and some of our calculators and put the numbers in and come up with a specific plan.
